BY BUS: You can get to Castello City hotel by local bus from the airport bus station. Take bus #1. You will need to buy a bus ticket before you get on the bus, either from a machine or a kiosk ('periptero'). Ask the driver to stop at the Castello Hotel, near the Chanioporta (pronounced "Han-i-o Port-a"). The trip from the airport to the hotel is takes around 15 minutes, depending on traffic. If you miss the first bus stop, you can get off at next one, which is on 62 Martyron Avenue. Both stops are about the same distance from the hotel, and it the walk takes just a minute on foot.
From Herakion Port
